Light Colour Reactive Diluents for Epoxy Resins from Cardanol

Introduction

Bio-based reactive diluents are used in several products like coatings and adhesives based epoxy resins.

Salient Technical Features

•  The reactive diluents are developed from Cardanol, a renewable resource obtained as by product of cashew processing industry.

•  It can be blended with commercial epoxy resins to improve the flexibility, thermal and water resistance proprieties.

•  Colour (Gardner < 5)

•  Epoxy value : 450-550 g/eq.

•  Density at 25 ° C= 0.94-0.96 g/cm 3

•  Viscosity (25 ° C) : less than 100 cPs.
