R & D Centre of Greensboro Poly-chem P. Ltd., have developed a revolutionary coating for corrosion protection for metallic surfaces known as Poly-dee® ADG, it is even suitable for coastal areas and saline atmosphere. The material has been test certified by IIT, Bombay. Exclusive patent is in process. Unique feature of this coating is, its setting by molecular cross linkage and no requirement of undercoat/primer coat. On good surface cleaning and direct application of this two compartment coating by airless spray on brush can leave a highly conversion resistant film of outstanding corrosion resistance. It has good flexibility and has passed 1000 hour salt spray test at IIT Bombay. It is suitable for metallic surfaces requiring long term corrosion protection. It is suitable for applications in automobiles; building metallic surfaces; industrial applications; shipping air cargo containers; over head & under ground metallic tanks/containers; over head and under ground pipe line coatings; railway wagons and coaches; structural steel of major industrial plants like power, hydel, steel, fertiliser, refineries, nuclear reactors, and ship bottoms, short and long span bridges etc.
