Mosquitoes cause many diseases
like Malaria and Dengue fever. A low cost process/technology
has been developed for a herbal based mosquito repellant
powder.

The powder mix is dissolved in kerosene
and filled in the emptied bottles of marketed repellants.
One bottle requires 35 ml of kerosene and it works for
40 days. The cost of one packet of herbal powder mix
(10g) is Rs 2.50. It saves us from the chemicals that
are released into our atmosphere by conventional repellants.
