Description and Advantages

Molecular Research Center, USA, has developed a new kit for bacterial DNA isolation called Bactozol. Bactozol ™ (cat. no. BA 154) is an innovative Kit for the isolation of DNA from a broad spectrum of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. A key component of the Kit is Bactozyme, designed for the most effective lysis of bacterial cell walls. Bactozyme is a concentrated solution (10X) containing activated lysozyme that remains stable at room temperature and precludes the need for daily enzyme preparation. The other key component in the Kit is DNAzol. After cell lysis in Bactozyme, DNAzol provides a fast and efficient method for isolation of DNA from the bacterial lysate. The Kit includes sufficient reagents for 125 isolation procedures, each yielding up to 40 micro gm of DNA.

Application

DNA isolation for research purposes or any other need.
