Introduction

Tiles are cast by vibration moulding of moist mixture containing gypsum anhydrite plaster, pigments, polymers, fibres etc. Tiles are of high strength, low water absorption and wear resistance and meet BIS norms.


Environmental Aspects

No special measures are required.

Suitable for use in flooring for general purpose as a replacement to ceramic and cement tiles.

Utilisation of waste material, lowcost substitute product


Stage of Development

Developed on laboratory scale. Available for commercialisation

Moulds, mixers, vibrating tables, curing chamber, drying chamber, rotary kiln, ball mill, grinding and polishing machine and demoulding plates.
