Mixed Plastics Film Laminate Recycling

Introduction

A leading industrial group offers an eco-friendly technology for flexible packaging convertors to dispose off their slitting and off spec printed laminates. It has perfected a process of recycling polyester/ poly, BOPP/ poly, cast PP, HDPE and various other laminates together with printing inks, laminating adhesive and metallisation into high impact strength plastics granules. The process starts with the above mixed waste which is homogenized and compatibilised using proprietary additives.
