Technology Description

The technology is a biological product and a process for the treatment of alkaline water water from textile industrial waste water. This process of treatment of alkaline waste water eliminates the use of acid for treatment. It uses bacteria and treats the water in lesser time. It is safe for environment as well as for industry workers.

Applications

In industries where essential oils, medicinal oil and cooking oil is extracted from natural products this pre-conditioning technology will drastically reduce the extraction time and also enhance the yield.

Benefits

With the experiments carried out using sandal wood samples the oil extraction time came down from 4 hours to 15 minutes. There was a jump of 60 % in the yield.
