Technology Description

Brief name for the technology is CPU Design Kit (CDK). CDK is a collection of tools that allow design, development, testing and verification process in the embedded systems development.

· CDK tools allow design, development and verification of an embedded system including the applications that are proposed to be run on the system even before the hardware is ready thereby reducing time to market, costs involved in expensive development process besides helping the team to reuse most of the IP since the tools are dynamically generated based on a model file! The tools are particularly useful in the consumer electronics space where cost and time to market form an important role in determining the competitive advantage.
