Technology Description
The technology presents the design of an Adaptive e-Learning
System. This design could lead to the development of a software
tool for e-learning that could adapt to the learning potential
of every individual user. The proposed technology deals with
the design and development of an Adaptive e-Learning System
for personalised learning. The technology is an integration
of Learning models, Optimization techniques and Semantic analysis,
thereby making it a novel and innovative technology for adaptive
e-learning. The proposed technology could also be extended
to support collaborative and distributed e-learning thereby
creating a social connectedness between learners.
Applications
The internationally flourishing e-learning industry could
integrate the proposed technology to help educate our society
more effectively.
Benefits
Most of the existing adaptive e-learning systems use predefined
or adaptive tests to decide the learning path making them
static adaptation models. It is sometimes easier to judge
the understanding level of a student from the question he
raises rather than from the answer he gives for a question
put forth by the teacher. This technology would help to customize
the content based on the questions raised by the user.
