This nasal drug delivery system can be used for the drugs having low oral bio- availability and to target them across the blood brain barrier as well as systemic circulation. This system with anti emetic drug, is ideal for travelers suffering from motion sickness for rapidly controlling the nausea and vomiting. Similarly some anti-migraine drugs can also be given effectively.

It can reduce the loss of drug due to having low dose. Use of mucoadhesive polymer enhances the contact time of of drug.
