Technology Description
The technology is a device which can be
use as a "Regenerative Shock Absorber" and "Ocean
Wave Energy Converter". The technology is a device which
can be used as a "Regenerative Shock Absorber" and
"Ocean Wave Energy Converter". This technology harnesses
electric energy from any source which a has to-and-fro motion
e.g. suspension of a vehicle and ocean waves.
Applications
The technology will be applicable in-
- Electric Motor Vehicle industry as regenerative shock
absorber to generate electricity from the to and fro motion
of the shock absorbers
- Renewable energy sector to generate electricity from alternating
motion of ocean waves.
Benefits
- There is no hydraulic or pneumatic mechanism used.
- Low initial capital cost and maintenance cost.
- Loss of energy in form of fluid friction is nil, hence
more efficient.
- With the help of the 'Ocean Wave Technology' and the 'Regenerative
Shock Absorber Technology the Carbon Emission by a vehicle
can be reduced to 19 % (McKinsey 2008 Oct).
- Manufacturing will not require any special machineries.
