Technology Description

Technology is to employ a Nano coating of a preferred Polymer which is a solid state material (used in most of the surgical equipments as micron or millimeter sized coatings). This Technology is developed to form an alternative to drug coated stents and to arrest some of the clinical issues encountered in stented patients, ex: thrombosis and restenosis.

Benefits

Its impossible with the present expertise to make any Nanocoatings of this material presently with any known technique adopted so far. The deposition technique developed for this polymer is very unique compared to all physical vapor deposition techniques.
