Introduction

The Mobshare Technology by MobME allows easy transfer of Mobile Photos and Videos to the Internet or other mobile phones in the fastest and easiest way possible.

Non-proprietary technical description

Mobshare Platform uses MMS Technology to deliver images to a central Mobshare Server. From their, the image is processed and various data structures are added to it to derive meaningful information.

Benefits of Technology

Mobshare allows users to share mobile photos with multiple people on the fly on mobile phones as well as the internet. The police can use it to report crime and accident photos directly from the scene of crime. DSIR has funded the Mobile Crime and Accident Reporting Platform based on the Mobshare Platfrom. CNN-IBN uses Mobshare platform for Mobile Citizen Journalism where users can send photos directly to the studio. The end user can use the Mobshare Technology to post photos directly to blogs and social networks.
