Technology Description

The technology is a natural mineral material. It consists of an engineered mixture of natural-minerals, typically volcanic rock. This material is used as a molecular sieve to adsorb water molecules there by enhancing body's own ability to form a stable clot. This device has a wide range of application in the event of injury resulting in bleeding requiring immediate trauma management, as well as, in industries like transport, civil defense, military forces and civilian households.

At present there is no viable alternate to QuikClot as a medial device to stop blood loss.
