Technology Description

This technology converts Industrial waste or biomass into cleaner fuel called "Energy Cake" comparable to LPG to give temperature as high as 700oC.

Applications

This cleaner and low cost fuel "Energy Cake" can be utilized by number of low income cottage small industries like distillery, food processing, glass, brass, textiles etc. One of its manifest applications is clean indoor household cooking by about 800 million people in India and 2.5 billion people across the globe.

Benefits

• This technology can benefit 75 million rural people and 2500 million tons of CO2 emission can be reduced.
• It is cheaper than subsidized LPG.
• Energycakes reduces CO2 emission by 309%, 237%, 30% and 231% with respect to coal, wood, kerosene and dung cake respectively.
