Technology Description
The technology is a biodegradable blend nanocomposites material.
It consists blending mixture of Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA)
& thermoplastic starch with 0-7% clay loading (nanocomposites).
This invention develops a biodegradable material with excellent
biocompatibility, desirable mechanical properties in a cost
effective way. The object of the invention also includes carrying
out the study of bio-degradation of thermoplastics starch
in order to understand the proper mechanism of degradation,
so that correlation could be established in the form of their
composites from renewable resources.
Applications
Packaging materials, consumer goods and industrial applications
and target industry is Food packaging , polymer,FMCG, and
others allied industries.

This invented product has enhanced biodegradability &
ESCR properties. This product has tremendous physio-mechanical
properties like high stiffness, tensile, puncture; tear, water
absorption, and others related properties.
