Technology Description

This technology is aimed at making available complex 3D data and visualizations on hand held devices, (PDA, 3G cell phones) and low end laptops with low graphics capability. For data sets representing large physical dimensions, it could use GPS for co-relating user’s location.

• Security of data by having 2 disconnected layers between the viewer and the actual data

Benefits

We expect this technology to be used for engineering, architectural, construction, medical applications by making complex 3D data available on portable devices. It can also be used for defense and aerospace applications where 3D CAD data of airframes, engines, geographical terrain etc. is needed at remote locations on light weight portable devices.

It can also maintain a suitable high quality of images for entertainment applications on higher end laptops, desktops and gaming consoles.
