sink finishing.

upgradation in rural tanned and substandard leathers.
Salient Features of Process/Technology
It is a current cynosure, which masks defects on low grade
leather, provides regulated anitque and special seal and sink
effect. Low grade leathers are tanned and made into crust
leathers. The seal sink effect is given through application
of a special paste. The leathers are dyed selectively creating
a design by spray finishing.
Status of Commercialisation:
Commercialised.

Usual tannery equipment.
Raw Materials: Crust leathers
from sheep, goat, cow and buffalo skins.
