| Hook
& Loop Fastening Tape Making Plant
Introduction
Hook and Looping Fastening Tape consists of two types of
polyamide tape (nylon 66), one of which is called hook, which
is convered by hundreds of tiny hooks (approximately 50 units
per cm2), and another called loop which is formed by hundreds
of tiny loops (also appromimately 50 units per cm2). The Hook
and Loop Fastening Tapes are closed together by touch and
can be easily reopened by a separating or peeling action.
On closing, the hooks on one tape penetrate the loops on the
other, thus creating an adjustable, versatile and secure closure.
The stronger the pressure applied, the greater the closing
action. Hook and Loop Fatening Tape may not necessarily be
an inexpensive product, but more frequently specialized products
with characteristics engineered into them are produced to
meet specific end-use objectives.
