various leather products e.g. footwear, leather garments and
leather goods by small scale tanners.
Salient Features of Process/Technology
The process involves shaving to required thickness, post
tanning wet operations like neutralisation, re-tanning, dyeing
and fatliquoring, sammying, setting, drying & conditioning,
staking, buffing, dusting and finishing. It requires 40 KL
water and 450 KWH power/day.
Status of Commercialisation:
Commercialised.

250 sq m/day
