Process for wet blue chrome tanning of bovine hides.

into finished chrome leather
Salient Features of Process/Technology
Wet salted hides are soaked, limed, delimed, pickled and
chrome tanned. The process reduces drudgery and results in
upgraded product quality. The hides thus tanned can be further
processed into chrome tanned leather. It requires 140 KL water
and 150 KWH power/day.

Commercialised.

Pits, paddles, fleshing machine and drums.
