Public Call Office Telephone Monitor
Introduction
Description An Indian research centre set up in 1974 is offering
technology for public call office telephone meter. It is engaged
in control and instrumentation, networking technology, ASIC
design, audio/video technology and hardware software realisation,
power electronics, underwater electronics. The centre is interested
in offering the above technology to business enterprises.
The technology is DOT/TEC approved design and FPGS based
design offering low component, count, low power dissipation,
longer battery back-up time and high reliability when compared
to designs using discrete standards ICs. It is user friendly
menu driven operating system with alpha numeric 24 column
printer and dual colour printing.

- Automatic journal report at 00.00 hours or when the machine
is switched on the next day.
- Journal report available at any time on display and printout.
- Selective journal report like today's account, previous
day's account, monthly account, previous month's account
and shift account.
- Dtmf/Pulse dialling facility.
- Last call print can be duplicated any number of time by
pressing '2' key.
- Two lines for operators address and telephone number on
the print out.
- User friendly menu driven operating systems.
- Can make a call while printing is in progress.
- Unit count on journal report.
- Can withstand wide voltage range of 100-260V. (Internal
SMPS)
- 16 provisions to enter local interdial codes.
- Hot keys for printer control, telephone control, console
dialing, last call printout and lastcall details.
- Backlit control, on console.
- Printout of any calls from memory.
- Credit facility for 99 accounts.
- Called station name on print and display.
