Digital Audio Workstation
Introduction
An Indian research centre set up in 1974 is offering technology
for digital audio workstation. It is engaged in control and
instrumentation, networking technology, ASIC design, audio/video
technology and hardware software realisation, power electronics,
underwater electronics. The centre is interested in offering
the above technology to business enterprises.
The Unit consists of a PC with DSP based add-on card and
a software package taking care of various functions of an
Audio Record/Broadcast Studio. The system works on Windows
NT platform for desktop and network application. Various operations
in a modern broadcast studio are carried out by a customised
software package.

Advantages
Broadcast studio operations like record schedule, broadcast/
playback, edit, satellite linking etc. can be easily carried
out with this limit.
