Emergency Lighting Equipment and Electronic Ballasts
Introduction
A Swiss innovative ISO 9001-certified firm has developed extremely
thin electronic modules which make it possible to build in
emergency lighting to light fittings of all kinds. The modules
can be built in to a whole range of light sources without
requiring any modification of the existing wiring. Thanks
to the use of some totally new devices, supply voltages in
the range 0-10V can be used for centralised systems, keeping
the central power supplies as small as possible. The firms
also offers microprocessor control modules on a common bus,
allowing a central station to monitor up to 960 individual
lighting fixtures. They have also developed a range of miniature
electronic ballasts which can be built into all kinds of light
fittings. Initially, it would like to start with one product,
the modular universal tube lamp (serial no. A2 N8 RW1). The
second product will be integrated in the manufacturing process
later on.
