An Alternative Washing Machine

The penetration of washing machine is only 2%. This is despite the fact that washing is a Daily activity in most households & the penetration of detergents is almost 100% The project focuses on design at an alternative washing machine. It will be priced below Rs.1500/- It is powered by electricity & the household bucket is an integral part of the machine. A prototype was developed to simulate the washing machine action using the oscillatory fan motor.
