system. They reduce the drudgery of the manual operation and
cut down the operation time in the fields.
In the rice fields it is a common sight
to find men and women transplanting saplings, in a laborious
manner. The convenient method of transplantation is very time
consuming and the out put is very little. A simple manually
operated rice planting machine has been developed to save
labour and reduce the drudgery involved. It enables transplantation
of rice sapling in a systematic manner and also increases
productivity.
