Development of Knowledge Based Expert System for Resolution of Construct Contract Disputes

Introduction

In this project the investigator would identify the variety of disputes arising out of different sources, contract clauses, etc such as final and binding power, time delay and extension, risk and cost, suspension and termination of contract, contractor being of poor means, etc. He would also identify the appropriate decision based on the settled court cases at different High Courts and the Supreme Court of India. In the case of International contracts, the appropriate law of the land will also be referred. These decision support systems of variety of disputes, which will be later assimilated to form knowledge-based expert system.
