Introduction

CAD software for the design of suspended substrate transmission lines has been developed. The software is based on spectral domain formulation under quasi-static approximation. The software generates accurate results on the characteristic impedance and guide wavelength necessary for the design of Microwave Integrated Circuits based on suspended stripline. The structures included in the software are, shielded suspended stripline, broadside and edge-coupled shielded suspended stripline, inverted microstrip and suspended microstrip.

Special Features

CAD software is for DOS environment.The software also has the provision for calculating the cut-off frequency of the first higher mode in suspended stripline and design data on gap discontinuity
