Absorption and Desorption of Gases In A Packed Column

Introduction

2 metre tall, 150 mm dia packed column setups are used for purifying gases and recovering solvents used for gas removal. The setup is provided with flow and temperature measurements.

Special Features:

Modern packings both structured and random packings are employed. The setup can be used to evaluate new packings, solvents, study steam desorption, measure several scale up parameters etc.

Prospective Users:

Fertilizer, petroleum, refining, petrochemical industries, small scale pure gas manufacturers and all other chemical industries.
