Introduction

A national research organisation offers a process for cadmium sulphide photoconductive cells. Cadmium sulphide photo cells are specially useful for applications in automatic street light control and. Other applications of cadmium sulphide photo cells are as follows :

Photo Relays :

Alarms of various types (visitor warning, burglar alarm, fire alarm etc) Control of various dimensions (for very fine wire length measuring instruments etc.) Safety device for optical product ejection Automatic switching of automobile headlights General automatic control (for autodoors, garage doors etc.)
