Water Test Kit for Chemical/Bacterological Quality

Product/Process : A composite kit containing instruments and chemicals for routine chemical and bacteriological analysis of water.

Application/Use : Water quality assessment under field conditions

Salient Features of Process/Technology : This kit is useful for assessing the concentration of fluoride, iron, nitrate, nitrite, residual chlorine, chloride, alkalinity, hardness, pH and total dissolved solids in water. Faecal coliform is estimated by Most Probable Number Method.

The kit working on 1 kWh includes a small incubator for bacteriological analysis by multiple tube method and a colorimeter for field operations.

Ready made reagents for 100 samples are stored in the reagent box. A person having Higher Secondary (Science) qualification can operate the kit after a little training. The detailed instructions for operation are provided in the manual.
