Retardant EVA Cable Material
Regional Research Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram
offers process know-how for the manufacture of low smoke flame
retardant ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA) cable material. The process
involves a formulation by blending the components in a steam
heated two-roll mill at an rpm of 40 at 120oC followed
by compression moulding of the blended material in hydraulic
press.
