Fibrous Gypsum Plaster Boards

Salient Technical Features

Process involves sandwiching teased sisal fibers between layers of moist calcined gypsum. Dimensions of boards are 1200 x 600 x 12 mm. These boards are light in weight, fire resistant and have thermal and sound insulation properties.

Application/Uses: Lightweight partitions, false ceiling and lining in interior decoration of buildings.

Status of Commercialization : Licenced

Raw Mateials

Natural / phosphogypsum, sial / coir fibers, water and demoulding agent.

Machinery/Equipment

Mechanized pan calcinator, Jaw crusher, Roller mill / Ball mill, Casting tables, M.S. moulds, Wooden racks, Buckets and drums.
