Introduction

 

National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), an Enterprise of Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), Government of India Celebrated its 63rdFoundation Day.

 

Marking the occasion Chairman and Managing Director, NRDC Dr. H. Purushotham handed over of Rs. 5,42,12,323/- to the Secretary, DSIR and Director General, CSIR Dr. Girish Sahni as their share of Premium and Royalty collected on the technology transferred by NRDC.

 

Speaking on this occasion Dr. Girish Sahni, said that NRDC has served the country by taking various technologies through various stages of development to the ultimate stakeholders, that have a great role to play in the future of this country.  He asked them especially to look for development of socially relevant technologies both within this country as well as many parts of the world.  He further said that the future is challenging and assured full support to NRDC.
