Introduction
A national research organisation is
offering a technology for pearl drilling machine. Artisans
engaged in pearl drilling activity are fixing pearls
in the holes of raw wooden laft and making holes with
the help of manual drilling traditionally used by the
carpenters. In this method artisans have to remain very
much vigilant which some time adversely affects their
eye sight. In order to avoid this complication the institute
has developed a simple machine with the help of which
artisans can drill 3 to 4 times more pearls without
being so much vigilant at the time of working.
