Introduction
A national research organisation is offering a technology
for PC based data acquisition system to monitor, process
and to record analog voltages, digital ON/OFF status
and temperatures. The system consists of a single PC
add-on card and association software in 'C' language.
The data acquisition card is compatible to PC XT/AT
bus. Inputs to the system is through two D-type connectors.
Marketing of the manufactured product: Marketing should
be done by the licensee.

Single card incorporates digital, analog (voltage)
and temperature channels. Accepts analog voltage in
the range of + 5V to -5V DCHigh input impedance for
voltage channels.
Switch selectable address.
Temperature channels support thermistors as sensors.
Menu driven user friendly software.
Software based noise filtering for analog channels.
Parameters display in engineering units.
Selectable channel identification.
Computation of temperature from raw data by solving
sensor specific
polynomial equation.
Local/remote operation.
Manual, auto or remote scanning of channels.
Generation of processed data file on floppy.
Hard copy output on printer.
