Technologies -Electrolytic Capacitor Making Plant
Introduction
A capacitor is an electric circuit element that basically
consists of two conductors separated by a nonconductor.
The capacitor is as important as resistor and inductor
in modern electrical and electronics equipment, particularly
in radio, telephone and television equipment. For example,
a typical television set has approximately 100 capacitors.
Capacitors are widely used because they can store electrical
energy in a circuit. Also, they are an essential element
in a tuned circuit. Capacitor come in many types, such
as ceramic capacitor, the paper capacitor, the plastic
film capacitor, the metal silicon dioxide silicon capacitor
and the electrolytic capacitor. Each type has its advantages
depending on its application.
Areas of Application
The electrolytic capacitor differs considerably from
other capacitors. In one kind of electrolytic capacitor,
the positive plate is a metal such as aluminum or tantalum,
the negative plate is an electrolyte. The dielectric
is an oxide film coating the positive plate. The capacitor
is small in size relative to its capacitance. This kind
of electrolytic capacitor is used in filtering circuits
in radio, television, telephone, telegraph, missile,
and computer equipment.
Production capacity: The plant equipped with the machinery
and equipment outlined in this proposal, operating 2
eight hour shifts per day, 25 days per month should
be able to produce 2.5 millions units of electrolytic
capacitors per month.
