This instrument has 75 items which
measure three dimensions of wisdom in old age. The dimensions
are: Reflective component ;Cognitive component ; Affective
component; The reliability and factorial validity of
the scale have yet to be tested. Content validity is
found to be satisfactory.
Special Features:
The scale can be used to predict the degree of psychological
well-being of elderly people. It can be used for research
and diagnostic purpose. Any one of the components can
be measured independently.
