Rebreather Bags for Medical Use
Introduction
UK based company, a leading supplier
of equipment and technological services for latex &
plastic dip moulding and other specialised dipping applications,
offers to supply technology for manufacture of Rebreather
or Resuscitation bags for medical use. Rebreather bags
are single use items, although in some markets they
are reused after sterilisation. The bags are made of
latex and are usually required in 0.5 litre to 5 litre
capacities. The most common sizes are upto 2 litres.
Normally made from natural latex with a reinforced neck
or collar, the bags can made on manual or automatic
equipment. They are usually overdipped with a conductive
neoprene or natural latex to eliminate static electricity.
The manufacturing plant offered by the company is a
dedicated production line involving a series of dipping
stations and drying ovens with automatic sequencing
and transfer. Each size of the bag to be manufactured
requires a different dipping sequence and this is programmed
for automatic selection into the control system. Equipment
capacity and type can be designed as per customer's
needs.
Area of Application:
Medical supplies: Rebreather bags are used in anaesthetic
applications together with tubing and face masks to
make respiratory systems.
