of Crude Rice Bran Wax
Introduction
The existing technology consists of selective removal
of triglycerides from crude rice bran wax followed by
bleaching to enriched. It consists of selective removal
of triglycrides, fatty acids, resinous matter and other
undesirable components using suitable organic solvents
followed by bleaching. Processing is simpler and cost
effective.
Applications
Used in various industries like paper coating, textiles,
explosives, fruit & vegetable coatings & pharmaceuticals
candles, moulded novelties, electric insulation, textile
and leather sizing, water proofing, cosmetics, carbon
paper typewriter ribbons, printing inks, lubricants,
crayons, adhesives, chewing gums.
